Two-Day Deep Dive Into Machine Embroidery

We’ll start with the essentials: how to set up and understand your machine, navigate stabilizers, and choose the right hoops, needles, and threads for different projects. You’ll also learn how to source and purchase embroidery designs online, plus how to transfer and organize them so you’re always ready to stitch. From there, we’ll jump into hands-on practice on a variety of items. 

Over the two days, you’ll not only complete several small projects but also build a strong foundation that will allow you to tackle embroidery on your own. Whether your goal is personalizing gifts, adding flair to everyday items, or expanding your sewing practice into something new, this workshop will give you both inspiration and practical know-how.

By the end of class, you’ll walk away with:

• A clear understanding of your embroidery machine’s features and settings

• Tips for stabilizers, hoops, and threads

• Hands-on experience embroidering on multiple types of fabric and items

• Confidence to continue creating and experimenting on your own

CANCELLATION POLICY:

• Classes taught by local teachers can be cancelled up to 72 hours in advance of the class date for a store credit. Unfortunately, we are unable to give a refund or store credit for classes cancelled after that point.

• Classes taught by out-of-town teachers can be cancelled up to 30 days in advance for a store credit.

• If you cannot attend, sending a friend in your place is completely acceptable and encouraged. 

• For classes cancelled by The Cotton Patch a refund (or store credit if you prefer) will be issued for the class fee.
