Curves with Confidence

Do all those beautiful quilts with curves intimidate you? Learn to sew curves with confidence with Michelle Trimble as you complete a strikingly modern table runner or wall hanging, or take what you've learned and make the entire quilt! This class will cover a variety of strategies to improve your curve sewing technique and introduce you to using the Curve Savvy ruler by Creative Grids for cutting quarter circles and arches with a variety of diameters.

Michelle's Dew Drops pattern is a dramatic modern design that is perfect for a 2- or 3-color layout, and also works beautifully with a variety of colors filling the center circles. In class, you will sew several blocks, and assemble at least one circle. While optional, a little pre-work before you come to class will make your fabric easier to work with when cutting and sewing curves - see the supply list for instructions and a link to a video tutorial for this step.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

• Classes taught by local teachers can be cancelled up to 72 hours in advance of the class date for a store credit. Unfortunately, we are unable to give store credit for classes cancelled after that point.

• Classes taught by out-of-town teachers can be cancelled up to 30 days in advance for a store credit.

• If you cannot attend, sending a friend in your place is completely acceptable and encouraged. 

• For classes cancelled by The Cotton Patch a refund (or store credit if you prefer) will be issued for the class fee.
