Creating Gifts from Rope
Need to create a last-minute gift in a flash? Let Jackie shows you how to make thoughtful, handmade gifts using common household clothesline, readily available in your local hardware store. You'll learn how to make placemats, coasters, trivets, bowls and baskets. You can even use leftover quilting cotton strips to add more charm!
Optional fee to instructor: Rope/clothesline recommended for this class $12/per skein if you cannot find them
ATTENTION: From experience, we have found that a light-weight, entry-level sewing machine generally will not be able to sew through some ropes. Please contact the instructor prior to signing up if you have any questions or concerns: Jackiesylam@gmail.com

Instructor: | Jackie Lam |
Instructor Bio: | Jackie's lifelong passion for sewing began as a small child watching her mother sew. When she moved to Walnut Creek in 1998 she began attending sewing classes and learned garment sewing from a well-known local sewing teacher, Jane Foster. Her love of sewing led her to quilting. She loves to share her passion and skills with the aim that students will be able to apply what they learn in class to their own creations. |
