Beginner Embroidery

Embroidery is the perfect portable project! Learn everything you need to know to add a handmade flair to any project, from clothing to quilts! Embroidery is a fun, easily transportable medium anyone can learn. Join us to learn some basic embroidery stitches in this fun workshop for anyone over 12.

We will go over materials, creating and transferring patterns, and then practice 8 basic stitches to get you started. In class, you'll discuss tools that can be used to make sewing easier such as hoops and thimbles as well as how to transfer your designs. You'll receive a printable embroidery booklet with diagrams included and you'll leave this workshop excited to start embroidering everything in sight!
