Sewing Summer Camp for Kids

Do you have a kid that loves to sew or can't wait to learn how? This is the summer camp for them!

Join us for a week of sewing fun at The Cotton Patch! For those who have never used a sewing machine before, we will cover machine basics and then dive right into sewing up fun projects. We will be focused on learning how to do patchwork and will make a variety of quilted pillow covers using fun fabrics!

AGE: 10 - 14

 SKILL LEVEL: Beginner

 SUPPLY LIST: All fabric, sewing machines and tools will be provided. Please send your camper with a light morning snack and a water bottle.

 CAMP CANCELLATION POLICY:

1. Cancellation by Camper/Family:

   • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the start of the camp session will receive a full refund, minus a $25 administrative fee.

   • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 15 days before the start of the camp session.

2. Cancellation by the Camp:

   • In the rare event that the camp must cancel a session due to insufficient enrollment or other reasons, campers will receive a full refund or may choose to transfer their registration to another session.

Vivian Gallagher is always doing one of two things: teaching or creating. Besides sewing, topics she has taught (and is happy to talk your ear off about) include Shakespeare, the basics of the Korean language, and the differences between using melted or softened butter when baking chocolate chip cookies. As for creating, between her two children under five and her varied hobbies (which include quilting, baking, cross-stitching, 1000+ piece puzzles, home DIY, and cat watching) she has approximately 5,000 unfinished projects at any given moment.
