Class Schedule: March, April, May, June 2008

When should I sign up for a class?
Nothing stops a good class or lecture quicker than if everyone waits until the last minute to register. We ask our customers to please enroll in a class at their earliest convenience. If you do not sign up at least three to four weeks in advance the class may be full and you will be disappointed. Each class is assigned a minimum number of enrolled students. If we do not have the minimum number of students enrolled by the assigned date, the class must be canceled. If you wait too long the class may be full or you might have been the one person we needed to meet the minimum enrollment.

Registration Procedure
Class sign-ups are taken in the store or over the phone. If you sign up over the phone, please send us a stamped self-addressed envelope and we will send you your receipt and the class supply list.

Cancellations
Should you have to cancel, please notify us 48 hours prior to class and you will be issued a store credit. If we cancel the class, you will receive a refund or a store credit.

Shop Talk

With each new year, we promise to finish all our UFO’s and clean out our sewing rooms. I have my room cleared enough to walk into and now have one new table that has inspired me to really “clean.” The garage is now the new storage area and I may need to rent a unit off campus to hold all the “stuff” that seems to be attached to me. I know none of you have this problem!

We are holding our second “Meals on Wheels” event on Wednesday, February 20th and 27th. Please sign up to sew on both days. The fabrics for the quilts are furnished and we hope to have many quilts ready to be distributed. It will be two fun days, and I promise to bring my famous brownies!

A big THANK YOU to everyone who brought toys into the store during our December Toys for Tots drive. Your gifts were awesome and the firemen were really impressed with the quality of the donations. The Cotton Patch customers are the greatest!

Check out our great class schedule. There are many new classes. Bring a friend who has never taken a class and turn someone on to a new hobby. You never know, that person may become famous in the quilting world.

Our Bernina’s are fabulous and if you are itching for a new machine, remember we give the best service, classes and VIC customer add on value package. Machines start at $199, so there is a machine for every budget! Come in and test drive a Bernina today! Nothing sews like a Bernina!

We have new fabric arriving every day. This week we received 50+ bolts of the new Kaffe Fassett and Philip Jacobs designs from Westminster. They are beyond gorgeous! The new batiks and Asian fabrics are exciting as well, and we have new flannels and 30’s coming soon! We’re bursting at the seams!

Have you picked up your copy of our 2007/2008 coupon book? For only $10 you will save many dollars through the year. It’s not too late to get a copy. There are still many valuable discounts for the remaining months.

Stay dry and warm. Spring is on the way!
